Film Fanney Khan terinspirasi dari film Everybodys Famous film Belanda yang rilis di tahun 2000. Dengan impian di matanya dan irama di hatinya, Anil Kapoor berperan sebagai ayah dari seorang gadis remaja yang memiliki bakat music. Sementara Aishwarya Rai berperan sebagai penyanyi cantik yang jatuh cinta pada Rajkummar Rao.

Fanney Khan is inspired by the 2000 Dutch film, Everybodys Famous. With a dream in his eyes and a tune in his heart, Anil Kapoor plays father to a teenage daughter who has musical inspirations, while Aishwarya Rai plays the role of a gorgeous singer with Rajkummar Rao as her love interest.
