Setelah lama hidup dalam keterbatasan di Pekalongan, Sita, seorang ibu tunggal, mendapat pekerjaan di rumah sakit Semarang. Ia berangkat bersama putrinya yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam melihat, Gendis, menaiki bus terakhir melalui jalur angker Alas Roban. Di tengah perjalanan, bus mereka mogok dan sejak itu hidup Gendis berubah.
